Golden-cheeked warbler adaptation

Dear Boss,

Here is the report that you have requested on the Golden-cheeked warbler. We have decided to go with this bird for selective breeding, because of its attractive colors. Here is its complete classification of this bird.

Ø Kingdom: Animalia
Ø Phylum: Craniata
Ø Class: Aves
Ø Order: Passeriformes
Ø Family: Parulidae
Ø Genus: Dendrocia

The golden-cheeked warbler has adapted well to its environment and the changes that it
go through in order to be a migratory bird. Here are a few examples of how the Golden-cheeked warbler has adapted to its environments.

Ø These birds are adaptive to cedar and juniper trees. There has been a decrease in these types of trees in the past few years. Since the decline of these habitats these birds have adapted to trees which are not as close to abundant water sources as had been in the past.
Ø The Golden-cheeked warblers have also had to adapt to the weather changes that occur during their migratory season. These birds migrate from Mexico to Texas in the early spring months and return to Mexico in mid to late July.
Ø They have also adapted to their habitat with the bright colors that they show. They have become a more common sight in the hill country.

I have chosen the beautiful colors of these birds for our selective breeding. We can use the wonderful colors of these birds to attract tourism to our area of Texas. We can selectively breed these birds to increase their size and make them bigger. If we have the opportunity to make these birds larger this will give our tourist a better view of these birds. We want people to be able to enjoy these wonderful animals so that we can attract tourism to the Hill Country of Texas. Due to the fact that these birds are endangered species we cannot capture or kill them for people to use in their homes. We want people to be able to enjoy these wonderful birds so that they will be attracted to this beautiful area of Texas.

I would like for us to breed these birds with another bird that is native to central Texas and is also very colorful. We will then be able to breed these birds with one another and result in a bird that could be more enjoyable as the Golden-cheeked warbler has always been. With selective breeding I would also like to breed these birds with birds that are adaptive to year round environment in Texas. These birds will hopefully adapt so that they will be able to be enjoyed year round for our Texas tourist.
